Frequently Asked Questions and Warnings
What does a ritual contain?
The ritual contains: a soy wax candle, a mist with a blend of essential oils, an infusion, a stone, and instructions.
Can I choose the products to include in the ritual?
NO, the ritual is designed to be a purposeful sensory experience, and the blends are specifically crafted to fulfill that purpose. However, you can purchase the products in different scents separately if you prefer.
How long does my candle, mist, and infusion last?
- All candles weigh 210 grams and burn for 32 to 35 hours.
- The mists have a 50 ml capacity and last approximately one month. They can also last a little longer, depending on usage.
- The infusion used in the ritual is enough for two servings.
How do I take care of my candle?
- Once your candle is lit, let it form a full pool of wax before extinguishing it to prevent the candle from tunneling and leaving unmelted wax on the edges.
- We recommend that you don't blow out your candle when you extinguish it. Use a candle snuffer to prevent excessive smoke, or alternatively, use the candle's cap or lid to extinguish it. Using the cap ensures that the aroma lingers a little longer because it avoids the smell of burnt wick after extinguishing your candle.
- Before relighting your candle, use your fingers to remove any excess burnt wick left over from the previous lighting. This will ensure your candle burns better and lasts longer.
How do I use my mist?
Shake the mist before use and spray a little on your hands and rub them gently together. Then, bring them close to your nose and breathe deeply. You can also spray the mist in a quiet, well-ventilated space where you need to release tension or shift the energy so that the place is filled with the aroma and helps you release stress. You can also pour a little of the mixture into a diffuser with water to fill your home with its subtle scent. Finally, you can apply it to your pillow, mattress, clothing, or closet to scent your space or yourself.
Candle Warnings
- Never leave burning candles or incense unattended and always keep them out of reach of children, pets, or near a draft.
- When you light the candle, make sure it is on a heat-resistant surface.
- Once the candle is lit, do not move it; the container will be hot and you could burn yourself.
- For your safety, never burn a candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
Warnings about fog
- The mists are for external use only; they should not be ingested. If they come into contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water. If you experience any allergic skin reaction, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor.
- It's important to be careful when sunbathing because some essential oils can be caustic to the skin and can cause skin blemishes if exposed to the sun.
- The mists contain a percentage of alcohol, so they are flammable products. Do not leave them in the sun or near a heat source.
- Keep mists in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children or pets.
